Hiking Trails in Kalmar

Kalmarsundsleden

The first stage of the trail runs the 29 kilometres from Norrlidsbastun in Kalmar to Ljungnäs, north of Rockneby. The second stage takes you from Stensö in the north to Ekenäs down south. This 18-kilometre trail runs along the coast and with luck you’ll encounter grazing animals in the lush coastal meadows along the way.

Facilities along the trails include prepared fireplaces, refuse bins, toilets, drinking water, shelters and stopover cabins – in fact, everything you need for a couple of days’ rambling that’ll bring you really close to the country.

Vasastigen

A nature and cultural experience in an authentic Kalmar setting that goes south and is approx. 8 km long, passing the fishing village of Stensö, the Vasa Monument and Bastion "St. Erik."
