Capellagården

This handicraft school, located in the idyllic village of Vickleby, was founded in the late 1950s by Carl Malmsten. Garden with herbs. Organically grown herbs, seeds and much more are sold in the store.
Open: April 24-Sept. 16.

Craft exhibit and sales during the summer: June 1-Aug. 27.

 Turned limestone

For more than a thousand years, limestone has had a great economic and cultural significance for the people of Öland. In Källa, in the north of Öland, you can visit Källa Stensvarveri (turning mill) and Nilla's Hemslöjd (handicrafts). This is where you will be able to see people at work refining the beautiful limestone of Öland, transforming it into unique utility goods, ornaments and jewellery etc.
